Natural Amethyst Stone
Amethyst is crystalline quartz in colors ranging from pale lilac to deep reddish purple. With a relatively high hardness of 7, the February birthstone is a fine jewelrygem for all purposes. Lower grades of material can be cabbed, carved, and made into a great variety of beads and other ornamental objects.
While the Amethyst is a valuable gemstone, it’s also relatively affordable. There’s several factors that determine if it is more or less expensive. These determining factors are the 4 C’s: color, clarity, carat, and cut.
Amethyst :The major sources of Amethyst are from Brazil as geodes within volcanic rocks, Uruguay, South Korea, Russia, United States, and South India. Zambia is one of the largest global amethyst producers of 1000 tonnes annually. Known as “the all purpose stone”,
Amethyst is a protective stone that helps to relieve stress and anxiety in your life, and the symptoms that accompany it, namely headaches, fatigues, and anxiety. It also aids in cell regeneration (supporting your bones and joints) and is reputed to improve your skin.
Whatever has been written about the properties and usefulness of this precious stone, I have my own opinion about it that everything created by Allah Almighty is beautiful and it must have some benefit.
